SEMINAR ASSIGNMENT:
You will be researching the notion of "heroes". Please read the essay in your duotang entitled "Are Astronauts Heroes?". You and your partner will discuss what you believe a hero is. After arriving at a consensus, you will provide a definition (in your own words), about what a hero is and find some examples from our world (fictional, historical or living).
You will create 5 good open-ended questions for discussion concerning the notion of "HEROES" and come prepared (with research) to lead your classmates in a discussion on these questions. Example: What is a modern day hero?
